Welcome to the Carers in Oxfordshire website

If you are looking after a relative, friend or neighbour who needs support because of frailty, illness, disability or a difficulty (such as an addiction) then you are a carer.

Carers are unpaid. Being a carer brings its own rewards, but it can also be very hard work, both physically and emotionally.

Help and support when you are caring for someone

There are many services designed to make life easier for carers but it can be difficult to know who to contact.

National Carers' Strategy - your views are wanted!

The Government is refreshing the strategy and is seeking your views on what will have the biggest impact on improving your lives.

Oxfordshire Carers' Information Pack and Guides

This pack has been put together by Oxfordshire County Council to provide key information for Oxfordshire carers and professionals who support them.

Online assessment

If you are caring for an adult, you can submit your own online assessment.
