What do we do?
All carers are different, so we try to be as flexible as possible and offer support in the ways which suit each person best.
Our Carers' Support Workers help carers with:
- advice and information
- help with practical tasks (such as filling in benefit forms)
- support at difficult times
- advocacy
We can visit you at home or arrange to meet you at the centre or at a community hospital by appointment.
To contact our Carers Support Workers, call 08457 125546
We also offer:
- regular groups where carers can meet
- voluntary respite – befrienders for isolated carers
- courses for carers
We have a number of schemes designed to help carers to take a break, or to make their lives a bit easier. Contact the Carers Centre for details.
